~McCrimmon Primary Care Plus Patient
Allison Gapinski, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she graduated as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
After completing her undergraduate education, Allison gained valuable experience as a registered nurse across a wide range of clinical settings, including medical-surgical/telemetry, adult critical care, and postpartum care. She went on to earn her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Since completing graduate training, Allison has worked exclusively in primary care, caring for patients across the lifespan. She has experience managing both acute and chronic conditions and performing minor in-office procedures. Her approach emphasizes preventive care, individualized treatment plans, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys cooking, running (at her own pace), practicing yoga (with ongoing flexibility goals!), and spending time with family and friends. She loves living in North Carolina and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their four children.
