Taylor Daimwood, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on prevention, education, and whole-person wellness. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, where she also completed a semester of clinical training in Cape Town, South Africa, along with volunteer medical trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Following graduation, Taylor gained valuable experience as a registered nurse in one of Duke University’s adult intensive care units. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University. Throughout her graduate program, Taylor continued working as a registered nurse in McCrimmon Primary Care Plus’s West Cary office, allowing her to gain hands-on primary care experience while building strong connections within the community.
Taylor believes in a holistic approach to healthcare — one that blends lifestyle strategies with evidence-based medical management to support patients and their families across all stages of life. She is particularly passionate about preventive care and empowering patients through education.
To further support women’s health, Taylor has completed WorldLink Medical hormone therapy training, enhancing her ability to care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Originally from South Dakota and Arizona, Taylor and her family now call North Carolina home. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, spending time with her children, trying new restaurants with friends, and traveling — whether exploring new destinations or visiting family.
