Dr. Oleksandra Bem is a compassionate family medicine physician dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages. She believes in creating a comfortable and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
Dr. Bem’s approach focuses on more than treating illness—she strives to support patients through every stage of life while building meaningful, trusting relationships. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals through preventive care, education, and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, pediatrics, preventive medicine, and acute care. She also enjoys performing in-office procedures and helping patients better understand their health so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
Dr. Bem completed her Family Medicine residency training at the University of Massachusetts Fitchburg Family Medicine Residency Program and the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Odessa National Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine.
Fluent in both Ukrainian and Russian, Dr. Bem is proud to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. Together, they enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, gardening, and growing roses.
