Christine Macomber, MD is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to pediatrics — working closely with families to support both medical needs and the realities of everyday life.
Dr. Macomber earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the College of the Holy Cross before completing medical school at the University of Massachusetts. She completed her pediatric residency at UMass Medical Center and has been board-certified in pediatrics since 1999. Her background in psychology enhances her ability to connect with children and families, supporting emotional well-being alongside physical health.
As a mother of four, Dr. Macomber understands firsthand the challenges families face when implementing healthcare recommendations. She works with parents to develop realistic, manageable goals that fit each family’s unique circumstances.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Macomber enjoys spending time with her husband, her children, and their two dogs. Her hobbies include traveling to visit her college-age children, watching classic mystery series, and working in her garden — activities that reflect her appreciation for balance, curiosity, and family connection.
